Servers are load spike protected!!

AussieHost.com servers are protected from load spikes caused by other sites on the server with Light Visualised Environment (LVE) technology.

LVE is an isolation technology that limits and controls the amount of resources (CPU, entry processes and memory) available to a specific process or user. This allows for greater stability and enhanced reliability.

In traditional shared hosting, what happens is one site on the server can bring the entire server to its knees, and take up all the server's resources, leaving your site with no server resources, and your site becomes unreachable.



With the LVE technology enabled on our servers, we isolate each site on the server so that site can only use a maximum amount of resources, ensuring that no one site uses all the server's resources, causing other sites on that server to miss out.



If your site does use more than the allocated amount of resources, then it will simply become unavailable for a time, until it drops below the server's account limits. This is the fairest method to ensure all websites on that server get reasonable access to that server's resources.

This technology is great news for webhosts (us!!) and great news for clients (you!!) in that your sites are ensured fair access to the server's resources, and no longer will you be the victim of another site on the server basically going nuts, and taking all the server's resources for themselves.
