My hobby turned into a project
I'm using Sitebuilder available via AussieHost and I'm finding it quite a pleasure to use - thanks Bob! The tutorials in general have been a huge help to get my site up and running Dwarf Tomato Project |

We do have a fair few folks using RVsitebuilder to make some pretty swanky websites. Bit of a surprise to be honest.

The reason I like RVSitebuilder is firstly the WYSIWYG editor capability, the wide template choices and the ease of creating pages. I've had a few frustrations, but they were relatively minor compared to the huge learning curve I faced trying to use a Content Management System. The CMSs I looked at didn't give me the "feel" I wanted, or were very limited in templates. I was able to get my site up and running very quickly with RVSitebuilder, even with about 80 pages of content.
The down side is that I don't have a "search" feature ability that I would get with a database, but I'm working around it partially. ![]() Last edited by dwarftomatoproject : 28th November 2008 at 11:45 PM. |
