What FTP information do I need to login? To login to your ftp accounts you'll use the following information: Servername: If the domain has propagated then you can use your domain name for the FTP server. If it hasn't, you can use the server's main IP. The IPs for our servers are - 1. Koala server - 122.201.73.206 2. Wallaby server - 122.201.73.216 3. Wombat server - 122.201.77.201 4. Reef server - 122.201.77.161 5. Barramundi server - 122.201.100.46 6. Dingo server - 122.201.73.96 7. Mango server - 122.201.100.216 8. Possum server - 122.201.101.61 You are told which server your account is on in your AussieHost.com welcome email. Username: This is the same as your cpanel username for the account if you're attempting to log into the main ftp account. If you're trying to access an sub-ftp account (an ftp account you created through cpanel), then the username will resemble an e-mail address. For sub-ftp accounts, you will need to use username@yourdomain.com . Password: This is either the password for your cpanel account if accessing your main account, or the password you set for the sub-ftp account if accessing a sub-ftp account. Port: The port should default to 21, however if it doesn't, that's the port to use. Upload to the public_html directory. |
