[Completed] RAM upgrade announcement - AussieHost.com Web Hosting - Host Multiple Domains on Fast Australian Servers

We will be upgrading Koala's RAM from 1GB DDR2 ECC RAM to 2 x 1GB DDR ECC RAM. The server will be shutdown, removed from the cabinet, the new stick of 1GB RAM added and the server placed back into the cabinet and restarted.

Downtime expected is 10 to 15 minutes at maximum, with less being expected.

This upgrade will take place in the next 24 to 48 hours, and I will update this thread before, during and after the upgrade.

Update -

We're looking at starting this upgrade 8pm this Friday.

- Having just logged into cPanel and stuff since then, and using various sites from the server it's noticably quicker!
