Default [Completed] Wallaby server RAM upgrade

Due to the recent issues with Wallaby server, we're adding another 1GB of RAM to the server. This will happen in the next few days, so just giving some heads up now. The server will be shutdown and the techs will add the RAM and then rerack the server and power it back up. Total downtime is not expected to be any more than 15 minutes.

I'll update this thread when this happens . . .

This RAM upgrade is happening in the next 5 to 10 minutes. Just got a call from the tech in the DC and he's ready now.

1GB RAM upgrade has been completed.

This should resolve some of the memory issues we've been having of late.

Things seem to be going smoothly since the upgrade, and I'm glad it was resolved because my site wasn't up and running at the time and so I wondered how the server would cope once I went 'live'. It's been fine to date - all is well
